  • A beautiful street in Siem Reap

Siem Reap is home to the largest religious monument in the world, Angkor Wat. The inspired monument is and earthly representation of Mount Meru, the Mount Olympus of the Hindu faith and the abode of ancient gods. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu in his manifestation as the Sun, the eternal sustainer of the cosmos and giver of Light and Life. Each year, this huge temple complex in Siem Reap sees a massive influx of tourists, especially during the Spring and Autumnal Equinox.

However, there is much more to Siem Reap than Angkor Wat.
